Experience Certificate Apostille Services

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q1: Can I apostille an experience certificate online?
You can book the service online, but the MEA requires the original physical document. You must courier the original to us for the sticker application.
  • Q2: Do I need notarization before apostille?
Yes. Every private document must be notarized first. This confirms the photocopy is true or the signature is witnessed. We handle this step for you.
  • Q3: My company is closed now. What do I do?
If you have the original letter issued before the company closed, it can still be apostilled via the SDM route. The SDM verifies the seal and signature on the document, not the current status of the office building.
  • Q4: Does the MEA contact my employer?
No. The apostille process validates the chain of signatures (Notary -> SDM -> MEA). They do not perform background verification calls to your HR.
  • Q5: Can I apostille a photocopy?
No. The MEA sticker is applied to the back of the Original document. However, in some rare cases (like Italy), they accept apostille on a Notarized Color Copy. We advise based on the country.
  • Q6: Is this mandatory for WES/Canada?
For WES (Education evaluation), usually no. But for the Visa Stamping or Express Entry proof of work, the immigration officer may demand an apostilled experience letter.
  • Q7: Which countries accept apostilled experience certificates?
All 120+ Hague Convention countries accept it, including Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, and the UK.
